Hands on with digital primary sources

An impressive collection of original documents has been placed online by the National Archives. It boasts a fancy flash based interface that allows interaction and navigation of the documents. Searching and connecting documents is done via tags. On a brief first look it’s pretty, but I found it slow to navigate through the documents — though I imagine much faster than travelling to the National Archives and doing it by hand.
