The University of Waterloo is turning Minota Hagey dormitory into a 70-bed think tank for upper year students to collaborate on Web, mobile, and digital media applications. A $400,000 upgrade will see the residence get Wi-Fi, server space, increased bandwidth, a 12-foot projection screen, a mobile device lab and a corporate-style boardroom. The new facilities will greatly enhance music and movie downloading productivity.
